San Sereno News April 2019

It’s hard to believe it has already been one year since I joined San Sereno. The transformation over the last year has been immense and as the development team begins to move out of common areas, we are able to turn our focus back towards day to day operations. The management team have been quietly working on service improvements that will be implemented over the next few months.

Alewyn has an introductory A La Carte menu that will be introduced in April providing residents with an alternative to the daily menu. Lisa is excited that we have finally received our liquor license and will have the Bar open at selected times together with a monthly resident happy hour. The Coffee shop has introduced Paul’s Homemade Ice Cream that is available in a variety of flavours. (I recommend Birthday Cake or Cookies and Cream)

Jessica and Joanne have been working on a Wellness Programme. You will notice certain exercise groups have become free for residents to participate in. Further to this, Jessica will be trialling Thai Chi, Entertainers and new Care Centre activities over the next few months.

We would love to hear your thoughts on the Wellness Program and any activities you would like to see. Please feel free to send any suggestions to comments@sansereno.co.za
