Jessica Rylance

Head of Quality of Life

Jessica graduated from the University of Pretoria (Tuks) in 2015 as a social worker, and joined Auria in 2018. Jessica is currently Head of Quality of Life for our Auria communities.

In this role, she leads and collaborates on initiatives aimed at enhancing our residents’ wellbeing, focusing on physical health, psychological support, social connections, and fostering independence. “As Head of Quality of Life, I find meaning in working closely with the passionate, dedicated teams on the ground. That mutual connection – and being able to see the impact of our efforts on the daily lives of our resident – is what makes this work so special.”

Jessica is deeply committed to creating environments where residents thrive – and continually innovates and strives to bring global best practice into our communities. Over the past few years, Jessica has collaborated with some of our US-counterparts, implementing a global project designed in conjunction with Harvard Medical School, to improve the lives of older adults.
