Jonathan Shutte joined the Auria team in November 2024 as General Manager of Coral Cove, bringing over 12 years of experience in private hospital and aged care management, as well as project management in the hospitality industry.

With a strong academic foundation from Wits Medical School, Wits Business School, and Yale University, Jonathan’s expertise in health management and problem-solving sets him apart in his field. Passionate about people, Jonathan believes that building a team culture rooted in clear communication, kindness, and excellence is key to providing exceptional senior living. “It’s encouraging to be a part of the larger Auria team, who work tirelessly behind the scenes to deliver the experience our residents cherish,” he reflects. “A team that believes in the work we do, striving for excellence, every day.” Originally from Johannesburg, Jonathan has called KwaZulu-Natal (KZN) home since 2021.
