Mario, our dedicated General Manager at San Sereno, was born and raised in Cape Town and discovered his passion for hospitality early on, studying Hotel Management before gaining valuable experience in the UK.

With nearly 20 years in the industry, he has honed his skills at prestigious establishments including One&Only, The Mount Nelson, and a luxury hotel in Lagos, Nigeria. “I love being part of the Auria team because we truly make a difference in the lives of our Residents every day. Working with my team to support and uplift our residents gives me daily satisfaction. I make a difference by being present, compassionate and responsive to their needs.”

A proud “foodie,” Mario delights in exploring diverse cuisines and restaurants. His heart races for motorsport, a passion rooted in family tradition, and Sundays are best spent immersed in the thrill of Formula 1.
